Botanical Romance with a Twist of Disco

Linzi and Nathan’s wedding at the iconic Sefton Park Palm House was nothing short of breathtaking. Nestled in the heart of Liverpool, this Grade II-listed glasshouse served as the perfect backdrop for a celebration that blended botanical elegance with unexpected, joyful moments of sparkle.

The couple came to The Event Edit with a vision that was fresh, modern, and heartfelt—asking us to create a serene, natural setting for their ceremony and then transform the space into a stylish, party-ready reception.

From Ceremony to Celebration

The ceremony styling began with our Botanical Gardens Moongate, used as a focal backdrop for Linzi and Nathan's vows. We lined the aisle with glowing candles and accented each guest chair with hand-tied bunches of fresh greenery—a soft, organic detail that perfectly echoed the surrounding palms and ferns of the venue.

After the ceremony, our team remained onsite to seamlessly restyle the space for the wedding breakfast. The candles were repurposed onto the dining tables, joined by delicate bud vases filled with gypsophila to create a light and romantic feel. The top table was adorned with a lush greenery garland, anchoring the overall botanical aesthetic.

As the sun set and the party began, we introduced one final styling twist: oversized disco balls, styled to inject a bold, celebratory vibe. The result? A seamless transition from serene vows to full-on celebration—without losing any of the design cohesion.

Client Feedback
